Summer Reading Check
This is the prompt for your summer reading check which will take place Wednesday, September 7.

Former President Bill Clinton once stated, “We all do better when we work together. Our differences matter, but our common humanity matters more.” From your summer reading book, discuss how this quote relates to a person, incident, theme, or message from within the book. Ultimately, find an example from within the work that showcases cooperation in order to improve oneself and humanity.
  1. What did you read? Summarize the book (100-150 words). Prove you read with specific details from the book.
  2. How did people work together? Did they show compassion to one another even if they were different? Give a specific example from the book. (100-150 words)
  3. How will you work with people this year? How will this be like the example from the book? How will you show compassion? (100-150 words)
